Tenant Fee Information
At Surrey Homes our Landlords pay us a fee to let their properties for them. Therefore our tenant fees can be kept low and will comprise the following:
Referencing Fees are £150 including VAT for the first tenant and £75 including VAT for each additional tenant or Guarantor.
Our Administration charge is £270 including VAT. This includes preparation of the tenancy agreement and all paperwork necessary for the handover. It is to be noted that we do not charge our tenants for any renewal during the course of their tenancy.
Check Out Fees: These are agreed and paid for in advance depending upon the size of the property and whether the landlord provides an inventory at check in.
Surrey Homes is a registered Member of a Government approved Scheme for protection of client’s deposits. We work with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) which offers protection for both Landlord and Tenant. There is no charge for this and more information on the DPS and how deposits are protected and managed, can be found here.

Let Only 9.6% INCLUDING VAT
Example: If the monthly rent was £1500.00, the fee would be £1728.00 INCLUDING VAT.
Fully Managed 14.4% INCLUDING VAT
Example: If the monthly rent was £1500.00, the fee would be £2592.00 INCLUDING VAT.
Depending on the property these fees may be negotiable.
